Skiing Breckenridge

This is at the top of the Imperial Lift. The highest lift in the states. Beautiful!

On the Gondola
Me and Erika. She's a snowboarder but we all can't be perfect like me ;)

Erika and I went skiing Thursday and Friday at Breckenridge. It was a blast! Thursday was cold and windy and snowy so I didn't really take photos because I didn't want to carry the giant camera in my pocketes. All these photos are from Friday because it was beautiful and sunny and warm, I wasn't as layered and the weather made for great photos!! Enjoy! We did!! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Back to work tomorrow, even for me! More updates to come soon.

My Planner

I just wanted to apologize for being such a slave driver but I wanted Chrissy to see the extent of what I was dealing with, then maybe you'd understand ;) Here's a before and after of my planner:

Before
After
See!? Isn't that much better? Ha ha, I think so anyway! By the way, don't go by that schedule if you want to know when I'm working. I had to change a bunch of days because of those classes you see written down the side. Anyway, thank you very, very much Chrissy!! Hope I wasn't too hard on you! I get the feeling you work best under pressure ;)

My friend, Erika, from work is meeting me tonight and we are going to head up to the slopes and ski (and board) tomorrow and Friday. Hopefully I'll have a few photos for you. All I have right now is my big camera so I'm not really sure if I'll be feeling carting that around all day. We'll see. Hope everyone is having a great week!!

Saturday Night

We took literally tons of funny face pictures at the bar. We were laughing so hard!! Everyone probably thought we were crazy...oh well!

Home Slice

Last night after Jake and Patricia left, Courtney and I decided to hang out in the mountains for the evening. We went to the Little Bear, a bar in Evergreen that's known for having live bands. The band we saw was Home Slice. A local 9 piece band that had horns and saxomophones. We had too much fun as the pictures show. It continued to snow so we headed home pretty early, 10 or so and proceeded to finish off almost all the liquor in my house ;) Unfortunately I woke up around 9 this morning and have been playing Guitar Hero and messing around on the internet instead of laying down to take a nap. I have to work tonight...oh, well. It won't be the first time I've gone to work sleep deprived! Hope everyone has a good week!

Jake and Patricia

Snow, snow, snow!! Can't wait to ski this week!
A little Guitar Hero
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me!

Jake and Patricia got here in the early morning hours on Friday morning. They drove through some crappy weather so the drive was longer and they were super tired when they got here but we visited a little while they wound down. Friday we got a slow start but we hung out, visited, watched Anchorman (you ate a whole wheel of cheese!? I'm not even mad! That's amazing!) and hooked up the TV they brought me so I can play Wii now (Yay!!). We made some delicious tuna steaks. Changed up the recipe a bit since some of my food has grown legs and walked away without my knowledge ;). It actually tasted better and I think I'm going to make it that way always now. Courtney drove up to my house to have dinner with us and preparty a little. Then we drove into Denver (in the snow). The concert was at the Fillmore and it was great. We had a blast. We went out for one beer afterwards but since we were all tired and it was still snowing, we headed back up to the house. We had some more drinks and played some Guitar Hero. Very fun. Then Saturday morning we got breakfast at the Cutthroat Cafe, watched a movie and I made cookies because patricia was having a sweet craving. They turned out funny as they always do despite my attempts to fix them but they tasted fine ;). Jake and Patricia left later that afternoon around four to drive across the midwest in the snow yet again. It was such a blast! I only wish they could have stayed longer!!! I love to hang out with them and we always have fun and laugh a lot when we are together. Miss you guys already Jakey and Patricia!! Glad you made it home safe and can't wait to do it again soon!!

Alice in Chains!!!!!

Don't know why this one won't rotate. This is the cover of their new album, Black Gives Way to Blue. It started beating when the show started. Kind of cool.
Me Patricia and Courtney. Poor Patricia got squeezed out a little so we did another one.
Much better, except for that face I'm making!!
Jerry Cantrell
Courtney, Jake and I. Too bad it's a little blurry. We had a blast!!!

The concert was freaking awesome!!! It was also way more awesome because Jake and Patricia braved the weather to come see them (and me). My friend Courtney from my new job came with us. It was so fun!!! It really has not stopped snowing. Poor Jake and Patricia drove both ways in the snow...what troopers!

Superbowl Weekend-now with photos ;)

I finally got this going!! And I'm not gonna stop! My favorite thing from the list below of things to remember about the weekend actually is Twilight sucks. And it is so funny to me because we were having a serious conversation about Edward and Jacob and why we like which one and William just matter of fact said "twilight sucks" and I almost spit out my beer.
Love this pic
Wish I knew what was so funny...here we go again! Such a cute photo though!

Well, I feel completely silly posting this right now considering Chrissy has posted four separate posts about Superbowl weekend and it's now a week and a half later and I'm just getting to it. That's about the story of my life! I'm really hoping that in the next couple of months, things will start to settle down and I can have some free time with which I can pursue my hobbies again without having to skip sleep to do so. Anyway, I'm posting this at work so if you are reading and there are no photos attached I either have not gotten home yet or I went to bed and forgot to post them. You can just look at Chrissy's blog for photos ;). We had so much fun!!!! I haven't laughed that much in I can't remember when! I wanted to post my memo that I saved in my phone of things that I didn't want to forget. Most of them are 'you had to be there' type things. This is exactly what I typed:

This weekend

I changd it from Bdog to Boobies. Good change. That's a good change.

Chappys

Squirt cheese

Jake blows for the pan flute and to create the whirlwind. He doesn't like it but he does what he has to.

What?

Splooge

Sparkily queer

Twilight sucks

Rye crap

Scrimmage

I'm a slave driver

If anyone asks, Mom is in the hospital. What?! Mom's in the hospital?!?!

Guitar hero

Pudge is a robot

Fire face. Ron

Merlit

Bienemann rot

Ceramic ghost head

FIFO

What are you, Al Rocker now?

Trap!!

Haha! The more I read these the more I realized that no one will understand any of it unless you were there but it will be a good laugh for a couple people. We took hundreds of photos too between the three cameras. I have looked through those photos so many times in the past week and a half. It helps me remember that I have so much love and support when I feel lonely. It helps remember who I am when I feel like I'm forgetting. This has been a really strange week for me. I have worked (well, I'm in the throws of working) 7 out of 8 days in a row. On my day off I slept maybe two hours then went to hang out with a boy that I like. I have so much to do on Wednesday when I get off work that I may not sleep until that night. Then I am making myself go skiing on Thursday because I am totally behind on my quota of days for this year. Then, Jake and Patricia get here Thursday night. Of course, they will be complete zombies but still... Speaking of, I'm so excited that they are coming!! We will have a blast I am sure! Whoa, tangent! The point I was trying to make is that I have been so busy and had so much extra stuff going on besides work that I haven't really been feeling like myself for the past week. I think it's mostly that I'm tired. Things are good though. Things are very good. Well, more about my hectic life later, when I have time to keep you all updated. I'm sure that I will get some good photos this weekend when Jakey is here! Hope everyone is having a good week!

Girls Night

Left to right: Sarah W, me, Molly, Melody, Karen (This one's my favorite)
Sarah W, Sonya, Mandy, Onna

Mandy, Karen, Onna, Sarah W, and me
Aftermath. The lighting sucks but I am wearing my skirt, a borrowed T shirt adn slippers, my hair is a greasy mess and my mascara is smeared all over. Oh yeah and my chin is all scraped up. I'm never gonna say why though so don't ask! I'm so glad I didn't have to walk to my car looking like this!!!

I know I just posted but I started thinking...(dangerous, I know) that this week is going to be very very hectic for me so I better post these photos before its another week and they don't get posted. So, I have to apologize upfront. Melody and I got ready together and we were running late. Everyone was already out when we arrived and I didn't think to get a full length photo of the outfit I was wearing. Also, I don't have many photos because I was way too busy looking for items on the list and drinking too much! Sorry. We did a scavenger hunt and I ended up breaking off later in the evening with Molly and Cassidy and their friend Ryan because I wanted to hang out with Ryan. I'm going to say his name again for good measure....Ryan ;) Anyway, it was a very fun night. I am so lucky to have such great friends!! I love those girls!! I don't know what I would have done without them in the last couple of months! We were talking about all the bullsh** we've been through. One of my friends just found out on Facebook of all places that her husband is engaged to another woman...WHAT!! You heard me! It took me most of the night to really even fathom that and even now....UGH!! Another friend's boyfriend dumped her on the phone right before she left for work on the day before her birthday...really?! BOYS!!! WTF!!! Of the nine of us there four have been divorced and if you count me and the Facebook girl that will make six of us divorced by the next girls night! I'm really hating that Valentine's Day is coming up. All the gooey crap in the stores makes me want to be sick! However, there is this big singles party that they have in Denver the night before Valentine's Day called the Bitter Ball...ha ha, I'm actually thinking of going just because I love the name!! Wow, sorry for the tangent. I just wanted you to get the full effect of the kind of girls I was with. We had a great time together and hopefully will be doing it again soon. We do have another pub crawl planned for the end of February but boys are included. You're gonna love the theme...Snuggie Pub Crawl! HA! I need to get me a Snuggie! Love you guys!

FOUND IT! Avs Game

Pepsi Center in our seats right before the Avs game stared
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Me and Karen. It was a little too bright behind us to get a really good pic but it works

I finally found my cord to connect the camera to the computer. It was driving me crazy. Guess what. I put it away...where it went. Ha ha! Then I put a nonfunctioning laptop and my old printer on top of the box. Sheesh!! So, that drama is over. Here are some Avs photos. I told you not that exciting. This was last Friday. We had so much fun though!
