Hello All!

I know it has been forever! So much has happened in the last several months that it will be difficult to post everything. I am in the process of packing so that I can move from the house I am living in to an apartment. It is a great place in a great location not far from where I am. I will be losing internet access at home for the next couple weeks during the move but it will not be too long. Plus I have my fancy new iPhone so I should not miss too much. Next Sunday, Russ, Eric and I will be leaving for a four day camping trip to South Dakota then I move on the 20th. Then Katie and her boyfriend visit and then Mom and Dad. July is gong to be very busy but very fun! Here are some pics from what has been going on lately in no particular order. I hope you are all having a wonderful summer and I will try to get back to this blog by the beginning of August when things slow down a bit. I miss you all!!! Happy Summer!!

Russ and I went to two concerts in the last couple weeks. Natasha Bedingfield and Alan Jackson. It was a great start to another great year of concerts with my concert buddy!

I saw fireworks at Civic Center Park on July 3rd. Very cool!

Sorry about this one but I had to brag about my wounds. :) I took up rollerblading again this year after I found out one of my closest friends Kim is really into it. My first day back out I took a nasty spill and ended up with very minor road rash and some pretty wicked bruises.

Russ and I went to a Rockies game last Wednesday. They lost :(

Then two days later on Friday (the 1st), Amanda, Josh and I went to another Rockies game. They shut out the Royals 9-0 then we got to see fireworks after the game.

I was kidnapped and taken to the casinos in the mountains against my will before my last trip home to IL. This a photo of my captors. You can really see the remorse.

My little niece graduated from high school Memorial Day weekend!!! I am so proud......and so freaking old!!!

While I was home I got to help babysit my brand new niece Bella

I also went to Jose's wedding and had quite a fun and interesting night. Starting with the boys left to right there's Jimmy and his son, Chris Koski, Jose, Clint, Nick and Ryan.

5K!

I have tons of other photos I want to share but I am pretty excited about running my first 5K so I have photos of that today. Kim and I did the Colorado Rockies Homerun for the Homelessthis morning in downtown Denver. The end of the race was a lap around the warning track at Coors Field. I had never been on a baseball field before so that was pretty awesome! Also my goal was to run it in 45 min and I made it just under 40 min!!!! Go me! :) The only photos I have are from before the race. I did not feel like carrying my camera even though it would have been awesome to get photos of being on the field!! Happy Mother's Day to all moms!!!

My Birthday!!

I will post more of my Easter photos soon but I wanted to thank everyone for the birthday wishes!! They were all very much appreciated!! Thank you so much and I love you all!! A group of us went to a Rockies game on my birthday and we had a lot of fun. It was really nice to see Pat and Gena from the hospital where I used to work and hang out with some of my good friends from my current place of employment. Here are a few photos from May 1st 2011. It was cloudy and about 45 degrees. We still had a great time.

Lindsay and David's Visit

Sunday we went to Vail. On the way up we actually stopped at Copper to have a waffle, then continued our drive to Vail. I love it when I have guests in town!!!!

Worth every extra moment!!!!!

We went back to Breckenridge on Tuesday to get a few more runs in before Lindsay and David's plane left. What a perfect day!!!!!

My Attempt at Snow Boarding

Lindsay and David are in Denver visiting and boarding. I am pretty busy this week with them and having a blast!!!! Friday we talked Eric into coming with us to Breckenridge if I took a snow board lesson. We had a total blast and laughed a ton! Here are some resulting photos. More to come soon!

I love them! I am getting ready to go to bed after a long night of hard work at the casinos in Central City and Blackhawk with my besties, Eric and Russ. Things have been very busy around here. Sorry I have not had the time or energy to post! Here's a few photos of my recent house guests, all taken by Melissa! I am just dropping the ball all around! :) Ryan and his boss Steve and Steve's daughter Melissa came out to visit and ski. We had a great time! The visit was way too short though!!
